Bon
appétit !
After 10 years as "Chef de Cuisine" in French embassies (Caracas, Bern, Brussels) we will make you discover a cuisine mixing Périgord traditions and modernity.
For breakfast, you will enjoy home-made jellies spread over good "campagne" bread and pastries (pies, cakes or muffins, according to the season and Marie-Renée's ideas). Tea or coffee will be served on the terrace facing the swimming pool or in front of the fireplace... If they want, kids can have their favourite cereals and fresh fruit juice :-)
For dinner, after a hearty aperitif, we prepare delicious meals inspired by the flavors of Périgord : duck and foie gras, of course, but also "sarladaises potatoes", smooth Rocamadours, walnuts desserts and the famous "Mara" strawberries (seasonal). We also surprise our guests –according to our inspiration and the products available- with dishes from other french regions, other European countries and even foreign recipes. Great moments indeed after a day of sightseeing … or a rest close to the swimming-pool !
This is a "table d'hôtes" (guest table). In France, it comes with a few regulations : guests must be lodging at the Moulin Pointu, they must share the family's menu and table. However, such "rules" are also the guarantee you will meet new people and bring home unforgettable experiences !
The dinner includes "everything": an entree (hot or cold), a main dish (meat or fish), cheese and dessert, as well as the drinks such as local wines (like Bergerac) and mineral water.
If you intend to share our table, please make your reservation in the morning at the latest...
Dinner (all included): 26€ per guest
